Counseling and Advising Services

Center for Distance Learning (CDL) Counseling and Advising Services

The City Colleges of Chicago (CCC) campuses provide various counseling and advising services available to students who are seeking assistance with career or graduation planning and education- related decision making. You can get advice on the Center for Distance Learning and its various course offerings by contacting the designated Center for Distance Learning adviser in the campus Registrar’s office.  The CDL adviser will instruct you on how to access all CDL programs, services and helpdesk support.

CCC advisors are your primary source for transfer planning information, course equivalency charts, college catalogs, advising-related materials and most printed program planning materials. You can arrange to meet with a CDL or general adviser or be referred to a faculty adviser in a particular academic program of study for advice on course selection and planning. Each CCC campus website will explain the advisor services and their hours of operation.
