What types of courses does CDL offer?
Teleweb Courses (TW): TW (Teleweb) courses combine video with content delivered over the Internet. TW courses are offered in a 8 week session for summer and 16 weeks for Spring and Fall. The video component is broadcast on WYCC-TV/Channel 20 of Chicago. Students complete all required coursework at the http://ccc.blackboard.com website. Students may need to visit one of the City Colleges of Chicago campusesto take course exams.

What other support services are available to me?
As a CDL student you entitled to all of the support services available to students throughout the City Colleges of Chicago system - including access to the campus computer labs.
What if I receive an "ADW", as a mid-term grade?
Students who do not fully participate in their CDL course through constant communication with their instructor, submission of homework, quizzes, and/or exams, and/or through the course web site, phone, e-mail or in-person contact at conferences, risk receiving an administrative withdrawal (ADW), on their mid-term grade report. How do I obtain textbooks for my online course?
Ordering CDL Books and Materials Online: It is recommended that textbooks be purchased online through efollett (www.ccc-distancelearning.bkstr.com). Students who wish to purchase their textbooks at their campus bookstore should first visit the efollett web site. PRINT A COPY of your course materials list from the web site. and bring the list to the bookstore. This will ensure that you are purchasing the CORRECT materials.

Visit http://ccc.blackboard.com and enter your username and password.

How can I access my CCC student email account?
Student email system is available via any web browser at http://student.ccc.edu.
How do I find out what my Student Email Address is?
You must retrieve your Student Email Address (which is the same as your Student Username) by going to http://student.ccc.edu and following the instructions. You will need to know your Student ID Number and your birth date. You will be asked to choose a new password and select a challenge question.
What if I would like to have my CCC Student Email forward to another email address?
Follow these instructions to have your CCC Student Email forwarded to another email address.

What if I forget my password?
Visit http://student.ccc.edu and click Reset your Password. After you have identified yourself (using your Student ID Number and birth date) you must correctly answer your Challenge Question to reset your password.
